Research at the Institute of Theatre Studies (ITW) focuses on the history of theatre, contemporary theatre, and dance studies. These research areas are located on the same site, which encourages close interdisciplinary cooperation. The ITW’s research activities are financed by external sources (including the Swiss National Science Foundation and other foundations) as well as internal resources.
